David I. Dale

|
DAVID I. DALE, of Maloney & Company, was born in Clarion county,
Pennsylvania, March 18, 1849, son of David and Catharine (Henlen) Dale.
His parents subsequently settled in Rockland township, Venango county,
where our subject was reared. He received a common school education, and
on arriving at his majority engaged in oil producing which he followed
until 1883. In that year he became the partner of George Maloney, which
partnership has continued up to the present. Mr. Dale was married July 28,
1874, to Miss Laura C. Wilt, of Cranberry township, Venango county. One
daughter, Nora, is the fruit of this union. The family adhere to the
Methodist Episcopal church. Mr. Dale is a member of the A. 0. U. W., and a
supporter of the Prohibition party.
